無事,心能靜;有事,心能定

無事時心能靜,是一種修養。古人有句話說,“人生莫如閑,太閑反生惡業,人生莫如清,太清反類俗情”,人在有事的時候,一般都能有一個專一的目標,一心用在做事情上的時候,保持沉靜的心態並不是很難。

反而是無事的時候,人就很容易在是是非非中變得浮躁不安,受到種種外界的誘惑。會怠惰、在消沉中無所事事,會放縱、在欲望中不能自拔,會胡思亂想、生出許多無謂的爭執。從而喪失了自己本心中的純粹與追求。

所謂“靜以修身,儉以養德”,無事的時候,需要修養的正是這種靜的本事。靜能夠讓人保持清醒的頭腦,在紛雜的世事中看清一切事物的本源。

《道德經》中有言,“靜為燥君,重為輕根,是以聖人終日行不離輜重。 利用無事的時間去靜靜的回味、思索、反省,知道自己內心真正追求的東西,才能戒除內心浮躁的氣息,才能修身養德,培養一種君子人格。

有事時心能定,是一種能力。清人翁同龢寫過一副對聯,“每臨大事有靜氣,不信今人無古賢”,《大學》裡說,“知止而後有定,定而後能靜,靜而後能安,安而後能慮,慮而後能得。”

有在無事時修養了靜的本事,才能培養出一種從容淡定的氣質,在有事時保持內心的安定。 在面臨大事時能不能沉穩安定,是判斷一個人氣量胸襟的重要標準。

古人有言:“胸有激雷而面如平湖者,可拜上將軍”,能做到胸有激雷而面如平湖,所憑藉的就是內心的從容安定。在謝安在淝水之戰時“為君談笑靖胡沙”,諸葛亮一出空城計退了司馬懿十五萬精兵,都是這句話的佐證。

儒家說“定、靜、安、慮、得”,佛家說,“因戒生定,因定生慧”,戒除了浮躁之氣,內心就能安定了,然後就能生髮出無盡的智慧。在動亂和壓力下臨危不亂,用高度的執行力去有效解決眼前的問題。

而只有一個在面臨大事時能夠安穩不亂的人,才有資格被委以重任。
